Marcos Cordova Neto

Marcos Cordova Neto holds a BA in English Language and Literature at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), and a Research MA in Literary Studies from Leiden University, Netherlands. At present, he is an MA candidate at the Graduate Programme in English: Linguistic and Literary Studies (UFSC), and a Ph.D. candidate at the Centre for the Arts in Society (Leiden University). His research interests encompass Literature, Cultural Studies, and Cinema with great concern for Post-structuralist approaches, namely, Gender studies, Masculinities, Psychoanalysis, Intersectionality, and Postcolonial theory. In his MA’s thesis, he investigated the relation of masculinity and Loyalism/Unionism in two plays by Northern Irish playwright Christina Reid.
