Ronei Lucas Gonçalves holds a Licentiate degree (2013) and a Bachelor’s degree (2014) in English Language and Literature from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). He earned his Master’s degree from Programa de Pós-Graduação em Inglês (PPGI) at UFSC in 2026. He is currently a PhD candidate at PPGI and a high school English teacher in the Santa Catarina state education system. His research interests focus on Irish Studies, with emphasis on Irish theatre and audio drama.
