Thalyta Bianca Pinto Aguiar Argivaes holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the Graduate Program in English: Linguistic and Literary Studies at UFSC. During her undergraduate studies, she received a CAPES scholarship in the Languages ​​Without Borders (IsF) program, working as a language teacher for UFSC students and staff. She has extensive experience teaching English as an additional language, teaching students of different nationalities, proficiency levels (A1-C1), and ages, through both in-person classes and online platforms. She completed an interrupted undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), where she received a CNPq scientific initiation scholarship, and in the Science Without Borders program, where she is currently pursuing a one-year undergraduate degree at Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland. Currently, he is studying the analysis of Lady Augusta Gregory’s play “Spreading the News” (1904) and its influence on contemporary Irish production, using the contemporary radio soap opera “Yesterday’s News” (2012) as an example. In his final monograph, the radio soap opera “Yesterday’s News” is analyzed as a reinterpretation of the play “Spreading the News.” His research interests include critical analysis of Lady Augusta Gregory’s works, radio soap operas, theater studies, and translation.
